Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how BowVerse Studio ("the Service", "we", "us") accesses, uses, stores and deletes data when a social media account is connected to the Service. BowVerse Studio is an internal publishing tool used by the BowVerse network to manage its own social accounts.

1. Data we access

When an account owner connects an account, and only after they explicitly authorise it, the Service accesses the minimum data needed to publish on their behalf:

• Basic profile information — such as the account's username, display name and profile picture — used to identify the connected account inside the Service.
• Publishing access — an access token that allows the Service to upload and publish the content the owner has scheduled.

The Service does not collect personal data about anyone other than the operator, and does not read private messages or contacts.

2. TikTok data

When a TikTok account is connected, the Service uses TikTok's Login Kit and Content Posting API. Specifically:

• It accesses the account's basic profile information (open id, display name, avatar) to identify the account.
• It uses the Content Posting API to upload and publish videos that the owner has prepared and scheduled.
• It accesses account statistics only where the owner has enabled that, to display them back to the owner.

The Service's use and transfer of information received from TikTok APIs adheres to the TikTok Developer Terms and to TikTok's Community Guidelines. We do not sell TikTok data and we do not use it for advertising or profiling.

3. How we use data

Data from connected accounts is used solely to operate the publishing features of the Service: identifying the connected account, scheduling content, and publishing it to that account. It is not used for any other purpose.

4. Storage and security

Access tokens are stored in encrypted form on the operator's own self-hosted infrastructure. Access to that infrastructure is restricted to the operator. We do not store the content of your platform beyond what is needed to schedule and publish the operator's own posts.

5. Sharing

We do not share, sell or transfer data from connected accounts to third parties. Data is transmitted only between the Service and the official APIs of the connected platforms, for the sole purpose of publishing.

6. Retention and deletion

• Data associated with a connected account is retained only while that account remains connected.
• Disconnecting an account, or revoking access from the platform (for example from TikTok's app settings), immediately ends the Service's access and the associated tokens are removed.
• A deletion request can also be sent to the contact address below, and the associated data will be deleted.

7. Your rights

The account owner can at any time review connected accounts, disconnect them, or request deletion of the associated data. Requests can be made at contact@bowverse.fr.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The current version is always available on this page, with the date of the last update shown above.
